A few years ago, while traveling through Europe, I never imagined I would end up calling France my home. But life had other plans: I met my French husband, and our story eventually led me to the city of Tours.
When I first moved here, I didn’t know much about this region. Slowly, I began to explore — and what I discovered amazed me. The Loire Valley is a treasure chest of art, culture, vineyards, gardens, and above all, castles 🏰.
Living here, I’ve fallen in love with the richness of its heritage. Each château is like a window into history, with stories of kings, queens, artists, and visionaries. Exploring them has become one of my favorite ways to connect with France’s past and to appreciate the artistry of another time.
